Avery Nigeria Limited is seeking a skilled and proactive Service Engineer to join our technical team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for installing, maintaining, and troubleshooting Weighing equipment, while delivering excellent customer service and technical support.

Key Responsibilities

• Install weighing scales and weighbridges at customer sites. 
• Troubleshoot faults and provide reliable technical solutions. 
• Diagnose, evaluate, and resolve customer equipment issues effectively. 
• Train customer personnel on proper machine operation and basic maintenance. 
• Repair, test, and carry out preventive maintenance on equipment. 
• Monitor machine performance and ensure optimal functionality. 
• Provide customers with regular reports and feedback on service activities. 
• Build and maintain strong relationships with customers. 
• Escalate recurring customer issues to management for continuous improvement. 
• Provide feedback on product performance, features, and possible enhancements. 

Requirements & Qualifications

• Minimum of B.Eng/B.Sc/HND in Mechanical, Electronics or Electrical Engineering.
• Willingness to travel extensively for field assignments.
• Strong communication and customer-service skills.
• Proven experience in diagnosing and repairing electromechanical and/or electronic equipment. 
• Strong troubleshooting skills and ability to respond effectively to customer concerns. 
• Excellent analytical, interpersonal, and communication skills, with the ability to simplify technical information. 
• Ability to work independently and demonstrate resourcefulness in problem-solving.
