Job Summary

We are seeking a passionate, competent, and responsible Sports Coach to join our coaching team.

The successful candidate will be responsible for delivering quality sports coaching and Physical Education support to students in private schools across Lagos State. The candidate must be able to work professionally within a school environment, demonstrate good knowledge of sports coaching, and effectively engage students of different age groups and abilities.

Key Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver structured sports coaching sessions for students in private schools.
• Teach and develop students' fundamental sports skills and techniques.
• Support Physical Education and school sports programmes.
• Coach students in relevant sports and prepare them for school competitions and inter-house sports activities.
• Identify students with sporting potential and provide appropriate development support.
• Maintain discipline, safety, and professionalism during training sessions.
• Assess students' sporting development and provide appropriate feedback.
• Participate in sports events, competitions, and other programmes organized by the company and partner schools.
• Work collaboratively with other coaches and school personnel.
• Prepare and submit training reports as required.
• Demonstrate sports skills and coaching techniques effectively.
• Maintain professional conduct and serve as a positive role model to students.
• Adhere to Supreme Badge World Ltd's coaching standards, policies, and reporting procedures.

Required Qualifications

• A Bachelor's Degree, HND, or equivalent qualification in Physical Education, Human Kinetics, Sports Science, Sports Management, or a related sports discipline.
• Minimum of 1 year of relevant coaching or sports development experience.
• Practical knowledge of multiple sports and the ability to coach students effectively.
• Previous experience working with children or students, particularly in a school environment, is an advantage.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to manage students and maintain discipline during training sessions.
• Ability to plan and deliver structured coaching sessions.
• Must be physically fit and able to actively participate in practical coaching activities.
• Must be willing to work across different private schools in Lagos State.
• Must be a resident of Lagos State.

Preferred Sports Knowledge

The ideal candidate should have practical knowledge of several sports, particularly sports commonly offered within school programmes, such as:

• Football
• Basketball
• Volleyball
• Athletics
• Badminton
• Tennis
• Table Tennis
• Handball

Knowledge of other sports is an added advantage.

Salary

₦120,000 monthly for entry-level candidates.

Compensation may be reviewed based on experience, qualifications, competence, performance, and increased responsibilities.
