Job Description

• The Student Counselling Officer (NYSC) will support prospective students and parents through the study abroad application journey, gaining hands-on experience in education consulting, admissions processing, and client relationship management.

Responsibilities

• Providing guidance to prospective students on course selection, university options, and admission requirements.
• Supporting the application process, including document review, submission, and follow-up with partner institutions.
• Assisting with student records management and ensuring accurate documentation.
• Responding to student and parent inquiries via phone, email, and in-person consultations.
• Supporting visa application guidance and pre-departure preparations
• Assisting with education fairs, school visits, and marketing outreach activities.
• Maintaining regular follow-up with students to ensure smooth progression at every stage.

Requirements

• Must be currently serving (NYSC) with minimum of 10months service left.
• 0–1 year experience in customer service, sales, or student support (an added advantage).
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Excellent written and spoken English.
• Organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple tasks efficiently.
• Proactive, teachable, and willing to learn the international admissions process.
• Positive attitude and ability to work well within a team.
