Job Title: System Administrator / Installer

Location: Ikeja, Lagos

Employment Type: Full-time

Job Summary

• We are seeking a proactive and technically skilled System Administrator to oversee and maintain our IT infrastructure.
• The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in server maintenance, internet and network management, laptop provisioning and support, time & attendance device administration, and CCTV installation and troubleshooting.
• This role is critical to ensuring the smooth operation, security, and reliability of our systems.

Key Responsibilities

Server Maintenance:

• Install, configure, and maintain physical and virtual servers (Windows/Linux)
• Monitor server performance, uptime, and security
• Perform regular backups and disaster recovery testing.

Internet & Network Management:

• Manage LAN/WAN infrastructure, firewalls, and routers
• Monitor bandwidth usage and troubleshoot connectivity issues
• Ensure secure and stable internet access across the organization.

Laptop & Endpoint Management:

• Provision, configure, and maintain laptops and desktops
• Implement endpoint security and software updates
• Provide technical support and troubleshooting for end users.

Time & Attendance Device Management:

• Install and configure biometric and RFID attendance systems
• Integrate devices with HR software or databases
• Monitor device health and resolve sync or data issues.

CCTV Installation & Monitoring:

• Install and configure CCTV cameras and DVR/NVR systems
• Ensure proper coverage and video quality
• Maintain storage systems and access controls for surveillance footage.

General IT Support:

• Respond to helpdesk tickets and resolve hardware/software issues
• Maintain documentation of systems, configurations, and procedures
• Collaborate with vendors and service providers when needed.

Qualifications & Skills

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, Electrical Electronics or related field
• 3+ years of experience in system administration or IT support
• Strong knowledge of Windows/Linux servers, networking protocols, and security
• Experience with biometric/time attendance systems and CCTV technologies
• Excellent troubleshooting and communication skills
• Certifications such as CompTIA Server+, CCNA, or Microsoft Certifiedare a plus.
