Job Summary
- We are is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Tax/Payroll Specialist to join our team.
- The ideal candidate will be responsible for ensuring accurate and timely payroll operations, adherence to tax regulations, and proper remittance of all statutory deductions.
Key Responsibilities
- Prepare and remit all statutory payments including but not limited to PAYE, Pension, NHF, NSITF, and ITF in a timely manner.
- Reconcile payroll-related accounts and resolve discrepancies or errors.
- Ensure compliance with all tax regulations, labor laws, and internal controls.
- Liaise with tax authorities and regulatory agencies when required.
- Prepare payroll reports and analytics for management and audit purposes.
- Assist in the preparation and filing of annual tax returns and statutory documentation.
- Keep abreast of changes in tax and payroll legislation and advise management accordingly.
- Support audits and respond to payroll/tax-related queries and reviews.
Requirements and Qualifications
- HND/BSC in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.
- Minimum of 3 years hands-on experience in payroll processing and tax/statutory remittances.
- Solid understanding of Nigerian tax laws and statutory obligations (PAYE, VAT, WHT, Pension, etc.).
- Proficient in payroll software and Microsoft Excel.
- Strong numerical and analytical skills.
- High level of accuracy, integrity, and attention to detail.
- Excellent organizational and time management abilities.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Certification in payroll administration, taxation, or accounting (e.g., ACA, ACCA, CIPM) is an added advantage.
Salary
N300,000 - N400,000 Monthly with other benefits
