Job Title: Training Manager
Location: Agbara, Ogun

About the Role
- We are seeking a highly experienced and proactive Training Manager to lead and drive our learning and development initiatives in our manufacturing facility located in Agbara.
- The ideal candidate will have a strong background in training program development and implementation within the manufacturing sector, with a passion for talent development, operational excellence, and continuous improvement.
Key Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and execute comprehensive training programs tailored to various departments including production, quality, engineering, maintenance, and safety.
- Conduct training needs analysis to identify skill gaps and competency requirements across teams.
- Develop and implement onboarding programs for new employees to ensure a smooth integration into the manufacturing environment.
- Work closely with department heads to ensure alignment of training initiatives with operational goals and KPIs.
- Evaluate the effectiveness of training programs using key performance indicators and adjust content/delivery accordingly.
- Manage the training budget, resources, and calendar.
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory training requirements and industry best practices.
- Promote a culture of continuous learning, safety, and performance excellence across all staff levels.
Requirements
- Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources, Industrial Relations, Engineering, or a related field. A Master’s Degree or professional certification (e.g., CIPM, SHRM, L&D certifications) is an added advantage.
- 7 – 10 years of relevant experience in training and development, with a minimum of 5 years in a manufacturing or industrial setting.
- Strong knowledge of adult learning principles, instructional design, and training facilitation.
- Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, high-performance environment.
