Role Accountabilities
Brand Visual Identity Development:
- Evolve and maintain Sahara’s visual identity system, ensuring a modern, cohesive, and globally appealing brand expression.
- Develop design guides, component libraries, and visual standards for use across all business units and regions.
- Ensure visual consistency across print, digital, video, and experiential platforms.
Creative Design & Layout Execution:
- Produce high-quality designs for publications, brochures, corporate reports, internal communications, presentations, infographics, and campaign visuals.
- Create clean, structured layouts that apply strong visual hierarchy and understand the flow of information.
- Adapt complex technical information into simple, visually compelling formats.
Digital & UI Design Support:
- Translate the Sahara visual language across digital platforms, supporting website elements, landing pages, microsites, and intranet visual assets.
- Work with the Digital Web Experience Manager to ensure brand alignment across user interface components.
Motion & Multimedia Design:
- Design and animate motion graphics for intros, transitions, lower thirds, logo stings, brand elements, and video assets.
- Develop animated visual systems that enhance Sahara’s digital storytelling and modern brand posture.
- Support video editing teams with stylistic overlays, graphic inserts, and brand-based visual enhancements.
Social Media & Campaign Design:
- Create visually strong content for social platforms and digital campaigns that elevate brand perception.
- Define the visual tone for major communication moments, anniversaries, product launches, and internal campaigns.
- Work cross-functionally to ensure every campaign is aligned to the brand’s evolving global style.
Brand Governance and Quality Control:
- Review and approve internal and external design outputs to enforce brand consistency.
- Maintain asset libraries, templates, and design repositories for organisation-wide use.
- Provide creative direction to vendors, printers, and production agencies as needed.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Visual Communication, Digital Design, or relevant discipline
- 2–5 years of professional design experience in a corporate, agency, or emerging brand environment
- Portfolio demonstrating brand identity, layout work, multimedia design, and motion graphics.
Technical Competencies:
- Advanced proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, After Effects) and Figma.
- Strong grounding in visual hierarchy, typography, color theory, and composition.
- Experience in brand identity development, logo design, and visual system creation.
- Ability to design for both print and digital platforms, including UI support for web assets.
- Competence in motion design, vector animation, and creation of animated brand elements.
- Basic understanding of digital formats, rendering, compression, and exporting for multi-channel use.
